In 2024,

I created a play about the fashion industry, corporate America, and A.I.

in collaboration with the Shaking The Tree Theatre

SATIRE

Where Silicon Valley meets the runway in a biting theatrical spectacle that pulls back the curtain on our obsession with progress at any cost. This groundbreaking performance begins as a sleek, corporate keynote and fashion brand launch – complete with all the polished veneer of a tech giant's product reveal – only to spiral into a surreal nightmare that challenges everything we think we know about consumption, innovation, and artificial intelligence.

We envision a utopia where limitless empathy, relentless innovation, and unwavering sustainability guide every soul towards transcendence.

We value human connection, collaboration, and mindfulness for the greater collective society
We envision a movement that rejects consumerism and the negative impact of human activity on the environment
We celebrate the beauty of the fluidity of the in-between and the spectrum of possibilities.

The Procession

The boundaries between brands and religion have become increasingly blurred, with retail spaces transforming into modern temples of worship and brand iconography taking on religious symbolism. This collection examines the intersection of religious ceremonies and fashion, exploring how consumer culture has adopted sacred characteristics.

The Exploitation

The second chapter investigates how corporations excavate cultural heritage for profit, revealing the uneasy fusion of consumerism and cultural appropriation. It demonstrates how brands mine and repurpose traditional narratives and materials in their pursuit of market relevance.

The Rebellion

The final act unfolds as rebellion incarnate, as an army of restless spirits and undulating shadows storms the stage. These ethereal forces rise up in furious defiance, waging war against the very essence of loss itself.
